Haley Joe, affectionately known as “HJ”, is a passionate storyteller from Atlanta, Georgia. Full of big ideas and the ability to see potential and possibility everywhere, Haley Joe fell in love with Birmingham after moving here in 2016 to attend Samford University. While at Samford, she studied Public Relations and Print Journalism. Her passion for communications developed early on and was further honed in college where she led the promotional and design efforts for The Local, a national, award-winning student magazine.

Prior to KC Projects, Haley Joe worked in marketing at her alma mater, helping lead Samford to record enrollment. Her experience at Samford taught her the importance of using fresh and creative ideas to continue to move the needle forward for organizations. While at Samford, Haley Joe developed her knack for all things design, Adobe Creative Suite and copywriting.

Haley Joe’s inner circle describes her as “charismatic and expressive.” She loves to create a community around shared values and interests. Guided by the strength of her convictions and a desire to serve people, Haley Joe is passionate about welcoming others in. When she’s not in the KCP office, Haley Joe is likely found at a cycle class, enjoying a meal at Birmingham’s newest restaurant or catching up on the most recent episode of “Chef’s Table” on Netflix. She volunteers with Young Life Birmingham, where she leads sophomore girls at Homewood High School.
